The Fourth Trimester refers to the first three months after birth—a time of incredible transition for both baby and parents. For newborns, it’s a period of adjustment to life outside the womb, filled with rapid growth, sensory development, and the need for close, responsive care. For parents, it’s a time of healing, bonding, and learning to navigate a whole new world. Compassionate support during this phase can make a lasting difference in a baby’s physical and emotional development—and in a family's overall well-being.

Our Fourth Trimester Package is designed to support you and your newborn during those first tender months of life—when guidance, reassurance, and connection matter most. This package includes in-home visits, personalized breastfeeding and lactation support, newborn nutrition guidance, and longer appointment times so there’s never a rush to ask questions or share concerns. You’ll also receive gentle, holistic mind and body support, educational resources tailored to your baby’s stage, and direct access to Dr. Jo by phone, text, or email. Best of all, you’re always cared for by the same physician who knows you and your baby—because continuity builds confidence and peace of mind.

The 4th Trimester Package includes services that you would otherwise go into a clinic for; however, with Wandercare, medical care and support is delivered to you.

-Five in-home visits for mother/birther and newborn

-Lactation and feeding support

-Postpartum Depression screening and mental health support

-Postpartum checks for the mother/birthing person

-Unlimited phone/text/email support between visits

-One prenatal consult session

-Tongue Tie assessment, release at an additional cost if indicated

-Developmental Guidance

-Virtual appointments when needed

-Transition “Back to Work” plan

-Help with transitioning to your child’s pediatrician for the Four Month Well Child Check

-Pediatric and emotional support attuned to supporting the full family unit
